Peter Andre and wife Emily celebrated their son Theo's 4th birthday at the weekend with a colourful party.

The Mysterious Girl singer, 47, took to Instagram to show off the amazing way he and Emily, an NHS doctor, had transformed their home for their little boy.

Little Theo's presents were all wrapped up ready for him in yellow paper with rainbow bows, sitting underneath a huge arch of multi-coloured balloons.

Giving his fans a glimpse inside the bash, the proud dad-of-four thanked Emily for organising everything.

He penned: "Theo is hopefully going to be one happy boy tomorrow. He’s turning 4 already. Thanks Ems for organising all this. @dr_emily_official"

Pete, who also shares Amelia, six, with Emily, 30, and Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, with ex-wife Katie Price, also shared a video of Theo's amazing birthday cake.

It depicted a grassy fenced-off area with plenty of trees and cute animals on top as well as a big windmill.

Peter wrote: "Theo is obsessed with windmills ( no idea why) so Emily created this beauty. Happy birthday Theo. Love you so so much. Thanks @dr_emily_official"

Emily marked Theo's birthday by sharing a beautiful intimate picture of Peter and herself at the birth.

She captioned it: "I can’t believe that on this day 4 years ago we met our amazing little boy! It feels like yesterday! Happy birthday Theo"

In the image, Emily is lying down on the hospital bed cradling her baby as Peter leans over her to give his new son a kiss.

He commented on her post: " I cried like a baby and I wasn’t the baby".

The couple have spoken a lot about having more children together.

Now, Emily says it's something they'll be sitting down to have a serious conversation about after Christmas.

She said: " We've previously said we might have another baby after Theo goes to school and we've decided we're gonna talk about it properly after Christmas...
