Mo Farah made I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! fans laugh out loud on Thursday's episode.

The Olympic athlete, 37, teamed up with EastEnders star Shane Richie - who have both now been booted off the series in the last two evictions - to improvise a scene from the famous soap.

During the hilarious segment, Mo put his acting skills to the test as he grabbed Shane by the throat and attempted to play a threatening character.

Instructing Shane to steal some gold medals, Mo said: "We’re going to melt them down and make some new earrings for Bat Putcher!"

Shane then asked: "Bat or Pat?"

Mo then realised his blunder, as he replied: "Pat Butcher," then the pair fell about laughing.

Shane later reflected on the funny sketch, as he told the camera in the Telegraph: "My LOL moment is Mo Farah being Phil Mitchell."

Shouting out a joke warning to his EastEnders co-star, he added: "If Steve McFadden is watching, Steve, you’ve got someone on your tails here mate. He could be a new Mitchell brother coming in…watch out."

Taking to Twitter to share at how funny the moment was, one viewer typed: "I’m sorry but Mo Farah and Shane Richie doing Phil Mitchel on Eastenders is hilarious!"

A second and third added: "Mo Farah needs to go on Eastenders @Mo_Farah & @realshanerichie doing an eastenders sketch was hilarious Shame on you voting @Mo_Farah out he’s so funny" and "Mo Farah going round as Characters from eastenders has absolutely killed me tonight."

Another echoed: " @Mo_Farah pretending to be #philmitchell has to be the funniest thing I have seen all yea r #ImACelebrity#EastEnders please give him a job."

Tonight will see Radio 1 DJ Jordan North, TV personality Vernon Kay and author and podcaster Giovanna Fletcher battle it out to be crowned the winner of the 2020 series of I'm A Celeb.
