Deborra-Lee Furness has laughed off long-running speculation regarding her husband Hugh Jackman’s sexuality.
The stars celebrate 25 years of marriage next year - but even that hasn't stopped rumours swirling.
Hugh, 51, has never taken the talk to heart, but says Deborra-Lee doesn't enjoy reading or hearing the unfounded gossip.
The wife of the Wolverine star has now spoken about the subject during her appearance on Anh's Brush with Fame on Tuesday.
The unimpressed 64-year-old actress said: "I see these magazines and they are just so mean-spirited.
"I hope people realise it's all made up. It’s just wrong.
"It’s like someone saying to Elton John, ‘He’s straight’ - I’m sure he’d be p****d!”
She joked: "Hugh's been gay for so many years, I was gay too when I did [the film] Shame. They were shocked when I got married!
"And so what? What are we discussing here? Is he a vegetarian? Is he gay?"
The actor told PageSix in the past that he doesn't take the speculation to heart - and knows where it all started.
But he said: "Just recently, it bugs her. She goes: 'It's big. It's everywhere!'
"Some dudes do get upset, some dudes say "Don't say I'm gay" but I am good."
In a 2018 interview, Hugh said he thinks rumours came from his Tony-winning performance as Peter Allen in The Boy from Oz - a musical about the musician who was Liza Minelli’s first husband, who later came out as gay.
Seven years ago X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner also addressed rumours that Jackman was secretly gay.
