Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey ‘sorry’ for ‘stupid & irresponsible’ lockdown rave

Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey admitted her actions were "stupid and irresponsible" in a grovelling apology after attending an illegal rave during lockdown.

The actress, 32, was caught breaching strict coronavirus lockdown rules earlier this year when she was snapped by a fellow punter at an rule-breaking party.

The former Strictly star has insisted she’s learned her lesson as she apologised four months on.

Speaking to The Sun, the soap star admitted she was "stupid and irresponsible" for breaking the rules.

"It’s hard to resist the temptation of breaking the rules but they have to be followed."

She told the publication she was "truly sorry" for her "silly mistake".

"The whole Covid thing has definitely taken its toll on everyone," the mum-of-one said.

The rave wasn’t the only time Chelsee was accused of breaking pandemic laws.

The Strictly 2011 runner-up faced accusations she'd broken the rules by travelling 200 miles to visit Lauren Goodger's jailbird ex Jake McLean.

The Goldie McQueen actress was snapped outside Jake's Essex pad, having travelled down from Manchester in May.

She was reportedly reprimanded by show bosses after she made the trip to visit McLean.

But now, having reflected on her actions, Chelsee is taking things much more seriously, even banning her now new boyfriend Jake from visiting her house she shares with three-year-old daughter Coco.

Chelsee’s home in Manchester is currently under Tier Three government restrictions while Jake is under Tier Two rules in Essex.
