Holly Willoughby has admitted that she was brought to tears by Phillip Schofield's One Show appearance last night.
Phillip appeared to chat to Michelle Dockery and Michael Ball about his new autobigraphy, Life's What You Make It.
And the NTA winner got emotional as he recalled his This Morning interview with Holly, shortly after he had publicly come out as gay in February.
He told Michelle and Michael that if it weren't for "wise, calm, sensitive" Holly, he couldn't have given the interview.
Holly and Phil were back on our screens this morning, Holly sharing a clip from backstage during which she tells Phil that she hasn't actually read the book yet.
She explained that most of what she'd read had been in the press, but that his One Show interview had her in tears.
"You talking on The One Show last night made me cry because I've never actually heard you say that," she gushed.
Phil told last night: "I couldn't have done [the interview] with anyone else.
"I wouldn't have wanted anyone else sitting beside me.
"We'd had a big lead up to that moment. When I knew what I had to do, Holly was one of the first people that I told.
"She's such a wise person, she's got such a calm, sensitive aura to her. Everyone at home was saying, 'It'll be ok, it'll be ok', and Holly was saying 'It'll be fine.'
"She was the only one who knew at work at that time. Then we sort of had to figure out how to do something like that."
During the interview back in February, Phil told Holly that he felt "lighter" having come out.
And in the new book, he explains how wrestling over the decision of whether to come out or not saw him lose sleep and shed weight.
