Holly Willoughby is ready 'to battle old talent agency over earnings claim'

Holly Willoughby has formed her own agency - Roxy Management - with an all-female team and is ready to battle her old agency if they press for a cut of her earnings

Holly Willoughby is reportedly willing to take on her old management agency if they try to claim for future earnings.

The 39-year-old This Morning presenter was with YMU, who also look after her TV co-star Phillip Schofield, as well as the likes of Claudia Winkleman and Ant and Dec.

Holly recently left them when she announced she had set up her own management agency, Roxy, with an all-female team.

The Sun has reported that YMU are looking to bag 15% of any future earnings that Holly makes but it has been claimed that Holly had not signed a contract to that effect.

The TV favourite is believed to have the backing of many of her celebrity friends who say that she shouldn't have to hand over any of her earnings from jobs that she had secured herself, especially since leaving YMU.

A source told The Sun that Holly "never actually signed a binding contract with [YMU]," and that it was a shame if they did pursue this as she "was incredibly loyal to YMU for many years."

The source has also claimed that the agency is not "signed up to the professional body called PMA which represents actors and agencies," so there shouldn't be any reason why "they are demanding commission on future earnings."

The source added that Holly "won't be taken for a fool," and is a "strong, savvy, very successful woman working in a tough industry."

Holly had been with the agency for 13 years before going out with her own company last month.

Speaking about the new venture, the source said: "Holly set Roxy up with an all-female team. She is all about empowerment... she will not roll over on the matter.”
