Celebrity Big Brother star Heavy D has died at the age of 47 after 'going missing' for two weeks, his family has confirmed.
The reality star, whose real name is Colin Newell, passed away this week according to his brother Patrick Newell, who revealed he'd been frantically searching for the star for two weeks before his death.
Colin made his last appearance on social media on November 14 when he seemed to be feeling extremely positive as his chatted about his quest for love and hopes for his career.
The star - who was the fourth person to be evicted from the CBB house in 2016 - had previously revealed he was struggling for cash, telling ITV's Judge Rinder in 2018, "The work had dried up."
The former cabbie and market stall salesman continued: "I came out of Big Brother. I thought there was going to be loads of work. My agent couldn’t get me any work and the work just dried up."
But in one of his final Instagram videos, the Storage Wars star was delighted when a tarot reader told him that after "some wake-up calls", Colin was "blooming again and on the road to success."
The medium, who goes by the name Psychic Tracey, continued: "About your career - [there are] new doors opening, taking on new partners, keeping an eye on the bigger picture."
Looking forward to the future, Heavy D revealed that not only was he writing a script, but he'd also been working on the movie Footsoldier: Tony Tucker Story: Origins and had shot a new car show called Car Traders.
“I’m writing a script as we speak," the buoyant star shared before Tracey assured him it would be 'magnificent'.
He went on: "I’m in a new film, Rise of the Footsoldier, and things are going well with that. I’m working on a new car show called Car Traders. It’s going to be massive. We’ve already shot the pilot for it."
In an earlier post that day, the father-of-one revealed that friends had talked him into joining dating sites Tinder and Badoo but said there was something that potential suitors needed to know about him.
He said: "If there’s a woman out there for me, I’m a very fussy eater, no processed foods on my plate.
"I’m really fussy about food, anything processed, I can’t eat it. It f**** me up. It’s the biggest scam."
Heavy D became a dad in 2017 when his on/off girlfriend Bryony Harris gave birth to a daughter.
They got engaged but split over Christmas 2016 before getting back together.
And Psychic Tracey said that after experiencing dark times and pulling himself through, good things were in store for the star.
She said: "I feel there’s a woman around in spirit who has guided you through this patch where you have had some little spikes, some little dark patches, but you always manage to pull yourself up."
Advising him on how to move forward as he nodded his agreement, she continued: "I feel you have a barrier up where relationships are concerned. I feel that there’s some choices that need to be made but the angels are pushing you for a direction.
