Heavily pregnant Katy Perry has hinted she has had enough of being pregnant as she is reportedly days away from giving birth.
The 35-year-old American pop star is due to welcome her first ever child with 43-year-old British actor fiancé Orlando Bloom.
Katy first revealed that she is with child back in March following the release of her single Never Worn White and the accompanying music video which showed her cradling her baby bump.
The star has alluded to her due date being in August – as she discussed her upcoming sixth album, Smile, when she wrote on Instagram : "Due to unavoidable production delays, my album #SMILE will now be released weeks later on 28 August. To make this up to you, starting this Sunday (Aug 2) and until the album drops (or until #Babycat whichever comes first)."
Now the star has taken to Twitter to hint she has had more than enough of the past approximate nine months of being pregnant – suggesting it feels like it has been far longer.
She wrote on Friday: “petition: to have all movies/tv shows etc update the fact that it’s 10+ months instead of 9 months pregnant.”
She added an eye rolling emoji to the message to emphasise her frustration.
Katy has been thrilling fans with updates on her pregnancy since she first announced.
She recently shared thoughts on what she might call her bundle of joy when one fan suggested she should name her child in tribute to her recent single, Harley’s in Hawaii.
She wrote: “I've never thought of Harley… ever! Wow! Harley is a great name! Harley Bloom. Hold on… excuse me I'm writing it down.
"But honestly, I'm telling you, this is a really great addition. I'll send it to [Orlando]. It's beautiful!”
She also discussed plans for having further children in the future.
She wrote: "It's not like I'm not just going to have one, I think. I mean, I hope. I hope! Let's see what the universe has in store for me but I think this is going to be on my 'forever' list.”
