Gwen Stefani left fans in hysterics after editing boyfriend Blake Shelton into an old picture with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
The No Doubt singer, 50, didn't hold back the shade as she took to Instagram to share the bold snap with her 10.3million followers.
After uploading the sweet snap of her with country singer Blake, eagled-eyed fans spotted that something was off.
Fans rushed to the comments section after realising the original snap featured Gavin - whom Gwen divorced in 2016 after 13 years of marriage.
Brushing over the fact that this was none other than a slick photoshop job, Gwen captioned the snap: "#datenight @acmawards w my boo @blakeshelton gx."
Baffled fans couldn't help but point out the obvious, as one wrote: "This is kind of a slap in the face to Gavin lol."
Another penned: "Although you may try, you cannot erase history or the past. True 90s kids know Gavin is in the original pic. Smh."
A third added: "Gavin is literally out the picture. Blake and you look adorable together. The shadeeee."
While a fourth agreed, writing: "That's a burn lol."
What's more, a little scroll down Gwen's Instagram posts would show her posting the original image with Gavin back in 2014, when the former couple celebrated their 12-year anniversary.
Gwen and Gavin met in the mid-1990s when both their bands were at the height of their fame but they didn't get together until many years later.
After tying the knot in 2002, the pair went on to welcome three sons before calling it quits in 2015, with their divorce being finalised the following year.
The proverbial hit the fan amid claims Gavin hid a three-year affair from Gwen with their children's nanny.
Following their split, Gwen instantly hit it off with Blake, who was also newly-divorced after splitting from his former wife Miranda Lambert in 2015 after four years of marriage.
Blake has since credited Gwen for helping him get over his heartbreak.
