Gwen Stefani is definitely really happy about her first CMT Music Award, especially due to the fact that she was able to share the honor with her significant other, Blake Shelton! Obviously, the two are one of the strongest romantic pairs in the industry so getting to experience this together made the victory even more special for Gwen!
As fans know, during yesterday’s ceremony, Gwen and Blake were awarded in the Collaborative Video of the Year category for their Nobody But You music video.

Stefani mentioned that she is still trying to get settled in when asked where she’ll be putting the award, explaining that she had just moved.

She went on to say that ‘I got to find a place in the house. Of all the years, of all the awards I’ve had, I’ve never had them presented in my house and I feel like I’m in a place where I do want to see them and I want to show them off.’
Her country crooner boyfriend went on to say that ‘Well, you’re gonna love the CMT Awards because it’s a huge belt buckle. It’s really cool.’
During the same interview, the ‘goals’ couple also dished on the fact that the collab has only brought them closer as a pair.
Blake shared that ‘We’ve been together now for 5 years. We have worked together and we have written together. So at this point in our relationship, we are always looking for the next thing we haven’t accomplished. So ‘Nobody But You’ is like our 2 worlds colliding musically. From a work standpoint, we knew we could work together on The Voice and now, to be able to make music together and go perform it. That clearly has brought us closer together.’
