Gregg Wallace displays 'almost six pack'' after incredible body transformation

Masterchef star Gregg Wallace has transformed his body in lockdown after being horrified by footage from an old episode of his show

Television chef Gregg Wallace has shown of his dramatic body transformation.

The Masterchef star, 55, has undergone a major health and body transformation and shed four stone through exercise and changed eating habits.

Sharing an image of himself topless at home and posing with his hands on his hips whilst sporting jogging shorts, Gregg showed off his toned physique.

He captioned the image: "Almost a 6 pack!"

The transformation comes after Gregg revealed that it was bittersweet to see himself in old Masterchef footage, filling him with both pride and shock about how he used to look before he shed four stone in a complete late.

Speaking to the Mail Online, Gregg had said: "First of all I looked at it and I was horrified, absolutely horrified. And then I was struck with an immense sense of pride and wellbeing."

In June, Gregg launched his own fitness website after letting his fans follow his health transformation.

"I did it, it's great. I don't need to lose any more weight now, I just need to maintain," added Gregg to the publication.

"But I know what it is, it's about teaching yourself over time, healthy habits that become part of your every day life."

Supporting Gregg through this metamorphosis has been his fourth wife Anna, 33, and their 14-month-old baby boy Sid.

Gregg also has an adult son and daughter, Tim and Libby, from his previous marriage to second wife Denise.

When appearing on Lorraine on Thursday, Greg spoke about fatherhood and how his health changes have helped.

Greg revealed: "Sid's amazing, he's absolutely amazing. If I hadn't lost the weight, in this heat a couple of years ago, I couldn't run around with him in the evenings."

He added: "I've got a 26-year-old boy and I'm playing around with a rugby ball with my little baby as much as I was with my big boy 20 odd years ago".

Speaking to The Sun previously about his old eating habits, Gregg said: "When I was at my biggest I was having a daily fry-up, fish and chips once per week, takeaway a couple more times and drinking beer nearly every day.

"I'm a huge fan of curries, chillies and stews and it is still possible to lose weight and eat hearty meals."
