Gogglebox's Pete and Sophie have 'barely changed' as they share adorable throwback

The brother and sister duo have been favourites on the Channel 4 show since their debut in 2018

Gogglebox stars Pete and Sophie showed how they've barely changed at all as they shared an adorable throwback to their joint Twitter page.

The siblings took part in the viral How it started / How it's going challenge to show how much they'd changed over the years.

But as they shared a childhood snap of them sitting side by side on the sofa, much like they do in the Channel 4 show, it appeared not much was different for the duo.

Pete also appeared to be making a witty observation as he pointed his finger with a cheeky grin while super cute Sophie sat staring beside him.

Alongside the photo the much-loved twosome posted a photo of them sharing a joke together on Gogglebox, where they are well known to viewers.

The post sparked a huge response from fans following their official Twitter page.

"So Pete was born just dripping sarcasm then. Hasn't changed at all, just got slightly bigger," said one.

"At least you've moved to a different armchair!" joked another.

"Omg you were adorable. Pete you havrnt changed a bit," said another.

While a fourth mused 'it's like it was written in the sofa' on their rise to fame on the Channel 4 show.

Pete, 25, and little sister Sophie, 23, have been appearing on Gogglebox from their Blackpool living room since 2018, leaving viewers in stitches every Friday night with their hilarious observations.

The pair actually have two other siblings - Harry and Lucy - who do not appear on the show.

Pete gave a rare glimpse into his private life last weekend when he shared the first ever snap of him and his stunning girlfriend of a year.

The TV star and Paige Yeomans are seen beaming in the photo as they cosied up for a selfie.

"My Mrs and best mate what more could I ask for, don’t worry @sophiesandiford1 you are a close second best friend," joked Pete in the caption.

While most of Pete's fans commented on how good he and Paige looked together, some cruel trolls suggested Pete was punching above his weight.

"Jesus Christ, batting well above there lad. Congrats," said one.

"The benefits of being on telly," another quipped.

While a third simply put 'punching'.

But not everyone was so mean.

One fan penned: "Lucky girl - imagine being with somebody this happy and funny!"

Another hit back at critics: "I don’t know why people feel the need to say he’s punching. But then again people who are like that are only jealous or insecure"
