Amy Tapper has said that she is ready to find love after growing in self-confidence following her losing three-and-a-half stone.

The 20-year-old Gogglebox star, who was a fixture on the sofa between 2013 and 2018 for the Channel 4 show, has shown off her slimmed down figure and has declared she “loves herself more than ever”.

Amy is now ready to get back on the dating scene and bag herself the perfect partner to enjoy spending the forthcoming years together.

The TV star told The Sun that she is "more confident in myself" and that her weight loss has led her to feel she can "love myself as a person more than I’ve ever done before."

Amy admitted that in the past she'd had "a couple of bad experiences" when it came to dating and the effect of that can "play a big part in your mind and your confidence."

She now feels "more confident in different ways than before" and is ready to see who is on the market and ready for a relationship.

Amy had tried to find a partner in the public domain by trying her luck on Celebs Go Dating in 2018 for E4.

At that time she feels her "inexperience with dating" hindered her chances but now she has a "new lease of life" she would jump at the chance to give the show another go.

Amy detailed her ideal romantic scenario in which she is swept off her feet.

She said: “I am looking to walk out of my house one day, drop my books and the love of my life comes and pick them up.

"I still think that is what will happen to me."

Despite not having the confidence at the time, Amy admitted: "Celebs Go Dating was amazing, I loved it, it was great for me."

She said that the experience helped her to learn "a lot about myself."

Amy has said that she was subjected to trolling on social media in the past but her friends have said she has "changed so much... mentally more than anything.”

One of the big stumbling blocks to a relationship has now been scaled as Amy said: "I am true believer that you can’t love anyone else until you love yourself but now I do love me for me."
