The stars of this year's BAFTA TV Awards walked a red carpet with a difference.

Everyone has been getting dolled up at home for the first ever virtual event, with things being changed up due to the coronavirus lockdown and social-distancing rules.

Anybody who's anybody in UK TV has been putting on their glad rags at home to strut their stuff around their living rooms, although a small number of people will be in the studio.

The awards were originally due to take place on May 17, but were postponed due to the pandemic.

And now, they're happening behind closed doors, with Richard Ayoade hosting the virtual ceremony.

Only around six presenters will physically be in the studio, with a pre-show set to kick off live on YouTube at 6pm.

The Inbetweeners and I'm A Celebrity star Emily Atack looks gorgeous as she posed up in her make up chair backstage.

The blonde beauty had her tresses pulled back in a pony tail and was wearing a smart white blazer with a low-cut black top underneath.

Comedian Tom Allen was also on hand to help out backstage.

The funnyman looked dapper in a navy blue suit, which he paired with a light shirt and a pink patterned tie.

Bodyguard star Nina Toussaint White was also pictured backstage in the make up chair.

She was wearing a beautiful white bandeau dress and kept her hair pulled back in a neat up do.

Peaky Blinders and Gangs of London star Joe Cole kept things cool and casual as he arrived for the ceremony.

The actor, who is one of few people attending the ceremony tonight, wore an all-black outfit of jeans, a T-shirt and trainers.

Documentary maker and Strictly Come Dancing winner Stacey Dooley arrived in style in a gorgeous black velvet dress with a swooping heart-shaped neckline.

Quiz star Aisling Bea stunned as she posed up at the ceremony in a gorgeous floor-length polka dot dress.

Normal People's Daisy Edgar-Jones looked beautiful as well, arriving at London's Television Centre in a strappy navy dress with bejewelled detailing.

Helen Behan, who is nominated for Supporting Actress for her role in The Virtues, got dolled up at home in a gorgeous strapless dress with a floaty green skirt.

She posed for a snap as she looked in the mirror to add the finishing touches to her make up, and while holding a glass of bubbly in one hand.

Jodie Comer, who is nominated for the Leading Actress award for Killing Eve, stunned in a mixed pattern dress.

She posed for a snap in her sunny garden, with a pair of shades on and a glass of bubbly.

Suranne Jones, who is also nominated for Leading Actress for her role in Gentleman Jack, also got dolled up at home.

The brunette beauty wore a patterned maxi dress as she posed up in her living room.

Coronation Street's Katie McGlynn looked incredible as she posed up at home.

She stunned in a sheer red dress with a swooping neckline and showed off her new silver hair.

The death of Katie's character Sinead Osborne is nominated for must-see moment.
