Giovanna Fletcher’s secret friendship with I’m A Celeb winner Jacqueline Jossa

Ahead of her stint on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, Giovanna Fletcher may have the expert advice she'll need to go all the way.

The 35-year-old author - who shares sons Buzz, Buddy and Max with McFly star husband Tom Fletcher - is actually close pals with none other than the winner of last year's series, Jacqueline Jossa.

And it seems as though Queen of the Jungle Jac has Giovanna's back for this year's show - despite it looking a little different this year.

Bosses were forced to relocate the show from Down Under to North Wales amid the pandemic, but ITV promises the show's content itself won't sway too far from what we know and love.

But despite the new location, Jac is convinced her pal will emerge victorious.

Former TOWIE star Mario Falcone - who just so happens to be Giovanna's brother - this week took to Instagram to throw his support behind his famous sis.

Sharing a snap of Giovanna in her I'm A Celeb outfit, proud Mario penned: "My amazing sister is going into @imacelebrity. She will absolutely smash it, I have no doubt!

"I couldn’t be more proud! Go Giovanna @mrsgifletcher."

Proud bestie Jac couldn't contain her excitement, rushing to the comments section to pen: "Wooooo.

"Mark my words I shall be handing my crown to this queen!"

Jac this week fuelled nostalgia on her Instagram Story as she penned: "A year ago, I was on my way to Oz!

"What a journey. Wishing this year's contestants the best of luck! So excited to watch!! Such a great line up!"

Jac got to know Giovanna after Jac's husband Dan Osborne appeared on TOWIE with Mario.

The girls soon grew close to one another, and it's safe to say Jac has probably schooled the mum-of-three on what she should watch out for during her stint on the show.

But Giovanna recently revealed she's been practising for I'm A Celeb for years, so roughly has an idea of what's coming her way.

The podcaster joked that she's well prepared for any eating challenges that'll be thrown her way in the castle.

She has taken plenty of inspiration from the ITV reality show in the past.

She said: "Years ago we started doing a runner bean challenge which is based on I’m A Celebrity.

"It’s where we pretend we are doing an eating trial but actually we are eating our vegetables really fast! Challenges like this find a way of becoming part of the family dynamic and I can’t wait to do this."

*I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! airs this Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
