It sounds like the plot to a hit Hollywood romcom - two young teens sit together on the first day of school and instantly become best friends, going on to fall madly, deeply in love.

But for I'm A Celebrity finalist Giovanna, 35, and her future husband, McFly's Tom Fletcher, that's exactly what happened, with the pair then tying the knot with a mind-blowingly romantic wedding.

And from a host of famous guests to an elaborate five-tier rose encrusted cake, not to mention Tom's one-of-a-kind moving wedding speech, their big day was certainly a real-life fairytale.

As I'm A Celeb fans have seen, pop star Tom, 35, has been his wife's biggest cheerleader over the past three weeks.

He has posted multiple Instagram updates encouraging fans to back Giovanna, all while single-handedly holding down the fort at home in London with their three young children.

But for any of the more than 21 million who have watched the boyband singer's insanely romantic wedding speech on YouTube, Tom's total dedication to his Gi won't come as a surprise.

On their 2012 wedding day, Tom surprised his new wife by turning the obligatory thank-yous into an emotional, funny and uplifting 14-minute song.

Performing new lyrics set to a medley of McFly chart toppers, he began: "So Giovanna can tell you that the only nerves and anxiety I've had about this wedding has been about giving this speech.

"I absolutely hate public speaking. Me and public speaking we just do not get along at all.

"Mainly because I don't have any idea about how to write a good speech. But I do know how to write a song. So I hope this isn't cheating myself out of it too much."

To the tune of an old McFly hit, he then sang: "Recently I've been having a wedding. I've married this girl who's out of this world, believe me."

Tom then went on to jokingly praise his "hot" sister-in-law Giorgina, offer Gi's dad Mario a medallion for teaching him to swear in Italian, and to sweetly promise to always wash the dishes for a single kiss from his new wife.

He also sweetly shared his hopes to one day start a family - a wish that came true, with the couple now proud parents to six-year-old Buzz, four-year-old Buddy and little Max, two.

While the speech has been seen by millions around the world, it wasn't the only memorable part of the day for CBeebies The Baby Club presenter Giovanna and her new husband.

Among the guests at One Marylebone, a 19th century, Grade I-listed former church in London, were a number of famous faces. Tom's McFly bandmates Harry Judd, Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones acted as joint best man, while EastEnders star Kara Tointon was Gi's bridesmaid.

Also on the guest list was Giovanna's brother Mario Falcone, who at the time was appearing in The Only Way Is Essex; his then-girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh; Radio One DJ Fearne Cotton and her now husband, Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood's son Jesse, and Busted star Matt Willis and his wife Emma.

Tom admitted to shedding some tears as Giovanna walked down the aisle to Over The Rainbow, played on the violin by Izzy Johnston. Now married to Tom's McFly bandmate Harry, Izzy is a former member of electronic string quartet group Escala, who reached the final of Britain's Got Talent in 2008.

Tom also enlisted the Sylvia Young Theatre School choir to provide backing vocals, having taken Gi back to the stage school to propose the previous year.

It was here, sitting on the floor for assembly, that the two first met as 13-year-olds. Seated in alphabetical order, the two have their surnames Fletcher and Falcone to thank for their first meeting.

He wrote in McFly‘s memoir Unsaid Things… Our Story of the moment they met: "This gorgeous girl walked in – I immediately turned to [my friend] Jason and commented on how fit she was."

The pair briefly split at 16 when they attended different sixth forms, but Tom won her back at 18 with a romantic letter.

Alluding to this fact in their joint best man speech, Tom bandmates praised the couple for being "best mates".

"When people talk about childhood sweethearts, Tom and Gi are the genuine article," Harry said.

"We'd like to finish off by saying that you two bring out the best in each other," Danny added. "People say that opposites attract but you disprove that. You really are the best of mates and that’s why we know that this true love story will last forever."

With so many performers in attendance, Tom and Gi saved on the cost of a wedding band by having McFly perform. But they certainly didn't cut corners on their once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

The pair chose a fantastic five-tier wedding cake, completely covered in handmade sugar roses in pastel colours. Keeping with the theme, Giovanna carried a huge floral bouquet studded with roses, which complimented her classic strapless ivory ivory Phillipa Lepley gown with a long trail and vintage lace overlap.

But while they surely couldn't top their big day, it seems Gioavanna may one day get the chance to relive her wedding - this time, with her children at her side.

Speaking while his wife was inside the castle, Tom said he had been inspired by her fellow campmate Vernon Kaye's tales of renewing his wedding vows with wife Tess Daly.

"Vernon has put me in it with renewing vows," he told MailOnline. "I don't think I could compete with his story so I'll need to start planning now."

For her part, Giovanna is clearly still madly in love with Tom, reposting their wedding pictures to social media on their anniversary.
