Gino D'Acampo restaurant chain has reportedly been bailed out by the boss of Iceland after facing millions in losses.
The celebrity chef, 44, reported substantial losses even before lockdown struck for its My Restaurant group, reports The Sun.
And it seems as though founder of frozen food chain Iceland Sir Malcolm Walker has stepped in to support the chain with a hefty loan that was registered earlier in October.
The loan is believed to be worth several millions of pounds.
Sir Malcolm is worth an estimated £265 million, meanwhile Gino himself is said to be worth around £8million.
According to the Italian chef's website, his Gino D'Acampo restaurant chain is now made up of eight eateries spread all across England.
They are now listed as being part of the Individual Restaurant Group, which is run by Iceland bosses and Gino's friend Stephen Walker.
And although he's facing hardship with his eateries, it seems as though Gino is still looking to expand his chain to a worldwide level.
A statement on the company's accounts says: "The company mission is to open further restaurants both owned and in partnership with other operators in the hospitality sector.
"Gino D'Acampo with his ever-increasing international reach plans to open restaurants on a worldwide basis."
The accounts reveal the group's sales amounted to a whopping £12.4 million, however not all was great news as losses were £2.9 million.
Mirror Online has contacted Gino's reps for comment.
Gino's restaurant chain is among several that have opted to extend their Eat Out to Help Out deals into October.
The chef's website states that his restaurants are "bringing a real taste of Italy to the UK – with delicious Italian food, prosecco bars, summer terraces, game rooms and amazing private dining spaces.
"Top quality, well-sourced & seasonal ingredients are used to showcase Gino's favourite recipes, serving real Italian food as it should be."
