Gaz Beadle and Emma McVey bring daughter home in 2020

Emma McVey, the wife of former Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle, has been rushed to hospital after fighting an "unpredictable" health battle.

The mum-of-two, 29, was diagnosed with three large holes in her heart just weeks before she and Gary tied-the-knot in July last year. She also suffers from colitis which she was diagnosed with last October.

Colitis is a condition which causes the colon to become inflamed, with Emma left with no energy and barely able to stand because of it.

Emma has now shared an update with fans on Instagram, posting a picture of herself in a hospital gown as she bravely gave a thumbs up.

Alongside the snap, she opened up about her most recent hospital dash and said her life "has become turbulent and unpredictable".

Emma wrote: "In the space of a week I’ve had gas and air, cameras inside me, called in for a chest X-ray whilst I’m sat having lunch, bloods and to start infusions, injections and one other thing that I can’t even remember because my head is constantly a shed.

"I don’t show a lot of my life on social media, as much as people think I do. I think I’m trying to just deal with things myself and be present at all times with my babies.

"This year I’ve learnt to enjoy and appreciate every single day because as crazy as it sounds I just don’t know what’s around the corner anymore.

"My life has become turbulent and unpredictable.

"I’ve had a fair few breakdowns and I can cry over the smallest thing these days. But I’m gonna keep smiling and I’m gonna stay positive.

"For anyone else trying to hold it together whilst fighting a health battle I’m right here with you."

Fans were quick to tell Emma they were thinking of her, with one person commenting: "Your doing amazing . How you continue to be such a fantastic mum whilst going though all this is inspiring.

Another said: "I think you're so strong! I get bad health anxiety so I know id be 10x worse if I was in your shoes! You're inspirational to people like me who panic about the slightest thing! Wishing you all the best, you've got this."

A third fan wrote: "Sending lots of love! Your babies are so lucky to have you as their mummy it’s also ok not to have it together sometimes, Keep smiling, it will all be worth it."

"Good luck Emma nobody knows what people deal with behind closed doors. Big hugs," wrote another.
