FKA Twigs - real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett - has made bombshell accusations about her ex-boyfriend Shia LaBeouf.

The British musician is suing the Hollywood actor, according to the New York Times, and in the legal documentation, FKA Twigs claims that Shia emotionally and physically abused her.

Here is a look at the allegations that the publication states that the Thousand Eyes hitmaker had made about The Transformers star.

The New York Times report that FKA Trigs says that during her relationship with Shia - that lasted less than a year - that Shia would grab her and leave bruises on her.

They add that she was afraid to seek help from the authorities due to concern for his career and as she thought she would not be taken seriously.

In the lawsuit, filed in LA on Friday, it is alleged that Shia drove recklessly in his car and removed his seatbelt whilst FKA Twigs was a passenger - whilst they drove back from a trip in the desert.

She claims he threatened to crash the vehicle unless she said she loved him.

Another shocking claim is that Shia once woke FKA Twigs up inside his car by choking her - which led to her begging to be let out of the automobile.

She claims he pulled into a petrol station and she opened the boot and took her bag out.

FKA Twigs alleges that Shia followed her as she walked away with her belongings and then assaulted her by pinning her up against the car and screaming at her before forcing her back into the car.

The lawsuit also accuses Shia of sexual battery as FKA Twigs alledges that Shia knowingly gave her an STD.

FKA Twigs claims, in the documents, that former Disney child star Shia did not like her looking or speaking to male waiters and that he had rules on how often she had to show him affection with touch and kissing.

She also alleges that the actor kept a gun by the bed - which led to her being scared to leave the bed to visit the toilet during the night in case Shia mistook her for an intruder.

Shia did not let her wear clothes to bed which would lead to them staying up all night arguing - resulting in sleep deprivation, the lawsuit claims.

She alleges it was “both difficult and dangerous,” to leave the actor.

The legal paperwork also alleges that when she was packing up her belongings to leave him last year, he turned up.

According to a statement from a witness, her housekeeper, in the lawsuit, when FKA Twigs wouldn't leave with Shia he “violently grabbed” her, then picked her up and locked her in another room whilst shouting at her.

In the lawsuit, it is shared how Shia wooed FKA Twigs in 2018 when she won a one in the mostly autobiographical movie he penned named Honey Boy.

The songwriter says that Shia won her trust with "over-the-top displays of affection."

In response to the legal filing - that FKA Twigs is suing for unspecified damages - Shia told the New York Times: "Although many of these allegations are not true. I am not in the position to defend any of my actions.

"I owe these women the opportunity to air their statements publicly and accept accountability for those thing I have done. As someone in recovery, I have to face almost daily reminders of things I did say and do when I was drinking."

He adds: "It has always been easy for me to accept responsibility when my behavior reflects poorly on myself, but it's much harder to accept the knowledge that I may have caused great pain to others.

"I can't rewrite history. I can only accept it and work to be better in the future. I write this as a sober member of a twelve-step program and in therapy for my many failings."
