Fifth Harmony singer Ally Brooke has revealed that she’s waiting until marriage to have sex for the first time.
The proud performer, 27, admitted that she holds her morals and values incredibly close to her heart, and revealed that just because she’s a virgin, doesn’t mean that she can’t date men.
Brunette beauty Ally opened up about her decision to save herself until marriage during a candid interview with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn on the Hollywood Raw podcast.
The American singer insisted that she is proud to say she’s a virgin, because she believes that saving oneself for marriage is a sacred matter.
Ally explained: “I opened up in my book about saving myself for marriage.
“I was brave to share that. That's something that I hold dear to my heart. And I hold still to this day.”
The Work From Home hitmaker admitted that to some, her choices may seem strange – but to her, it’s an important part of her growth as a woman.
She insisted: “I was really happy to be able to share that with my fans, and readers and to show them the choice that I made. And have them receive it however they want to receive it. Letting my true heart shine was the goal of this book.”
When it comes to the dating game, Ally has learned to be upfront about her intentions from the very outset when she first gets talking to a man.
The singer explained that a potential romantic partner can either ‘respect her choices or not’, but she’s not willing to settle for anything less than what she deserves.
Ally, who currently in a relationship with her manager Will Bracey, revealed that being a virgin hasn’t been a problem in her past romances, and she doesn’t see it being a problem in the future.
“Everyone has respected it, which is awesome,” she revealed.
Ally enjoyed phenomenal worldwide success in Fifth Harmony for six whirlwind years from 2012 to 2018.
Despite their raunchy music videos and barely-there stage outfits, Ally insisted that the girl band’s music never impacted on her religious beliefs.
