Ferne McCann wants her daughter Sunday to become a "superstar" and "not a reality star" when she gets older.
The former TOWIE babe, 30, found fame through the ITV show in her early twenties before quitting for good in 2016.
As her ITVBe reality show First Time Mum returns for series six, Ferne has opened up about Sunday's future and what she believes is in store for her little toddler.
Ferne hasn't ruled out reality TV completely, so she could follow in her mum's footsteps.
But she would rather her daughter immerse herself in different things to figure out her dream job as a "superstar" instead of heading straight into the showbiz industry, just like her mum.
Speaking exclusively to Mirror Online, mum-of-one Ferne said: "I feel like I'm going to contradict myself here because she is actually on a reality show. But with First Time Mum there's a level of control and it's such a positive show.
"I wouldn't let her walk into anything without being 100 percent happy and feeling positive about it. Technically she's on a reality show but I would definitely question her and make her think about it because it's not for everyone.
"I don't want her to be a reality star, I want her to be a superstar. I just want her to immerse herself in lots of different things and find what she wants to do. And if that's through reality TV then so be it."
However the concerned mother revealed she wants her daughter to come to her for permission first before signing up for any show - especially as it might not be what she's expecting.
Ferne continued: "I'd definitely want her to talk it through with me. I'd be fuming if she signed up to something, like what?"
The telly personality began filming for TOWIE when she was 23 so Ferne knows what it's like to constantly be in the spotlight.
She wants to make sure Sunday knows all the ins and outs of the industry before signing her life away.
"You've got to be made of strong stuff," Ferne admitted. "For me, from my experience it was such an amazing opportunity that couldn't be missed.
"That's what I wanted to do back in the day, I wanted to be famous and be on TV and it all seemed very, very glamorous.
"Don't get me wrong - there's parts of it that is but there's also parts of it being really difficult, you're exposing yourself and opening it up to other people critiquing you and sharing their opinions, so I'd definitely make her think about it."
Ferne also shared how she got to know her daughter on a deeper level during the coronavirus lockdown.
She said: "Sunday is very much a proper little character now, you can see her personality loads... I definitely enjoyed parts of it [lockdown] because I felt I was spending more time with Sunday - good quality time.
"I really got to know her, I know she's my daughter but, I really got to know her on a deeper level than I ever had done before. We did loads of fun things together and just spent really good time together, but of course it was tested and there was ups and downs and days where I was like, 'Oh my god, I fully respect stay at home mums'."
Throughout the First Time Mum series, fans have seen Sunday go through the terrible twos stage which drove Ferne crazy.
But it seems the tantrums haven't stopped in the upcoming series.
Ferne said: "Every time I'm like, 'Yeah, I think we've nailed it, the tantrums are definitely getting less and less, and diminishing', she has a mad meltdown. This series you see her have the ultimate meltdown. She breaks me.
"No one teaches you how to - I know there's so much stuff out there for tantrums, this and that, but every child is different - and it's such a guessing game because you want to make sure you deal with it so you're not going to make the situation worse."
She added: "I just wear my heart on my sleeve and it's from an honest view of parenting because I'm still learning. Even though she's nearly three and we're series six into First Time Mum, I still get it wrong and I'm still learning on the job, but that's the whole fun of it. I think that's why people really like it and warm to it because I'm just honest with it."
As for returning to work, Ferne can't wait because she confessed she's "not cut out to be a stay at home mum".
She admitted: "I just don't think I'm cut out to be a stay at home mum."
She explained: "I loved it. I was like, 'Yes, I'm ready to go back'. Sunday went back to nursery. I really love to be busy and I pride myself on the work that I do and I love to be productive so, I think everyone returning back to work welcomed it with open arms and was ready to get creative and be productive."
Lockdown has also given the star time to find out more about herself, especially allowing her to connect with her spiritual side.
"I meditate, I love my crystals, there's crystals everywhere in my house," Ferne said. "Just working on yourself is so important and finding the tools to take care of yourself. I now live my life by that, and that really helped in lockdown."
She also ruled out going back on TOWIE in the future because she has closed that chapter of her life.
"I really feel like that chapter in my life is closed and I don't think that it's a possibility," she shared.
"I love the show, I'm a secret fan. I had a little TOWIE binge session the other morning, just had it on in the background.
"I like that I can watch it as a viewer and just appreciate it being great reality TV. To be on that show and go back - that chapter in my life is done."
