Ferne McCann admits I'm A Celebrity made her fear of snakes worse after she completed a horror Bushtucker Trial.

The former TOWIE star, 30, opened up on how the reality show has left her traumatised for life on her ITVBe series First Time Mum.

The doting mother took her daughter Sunday for a day with the animals and was left cowering in the corner when her tot wanted to touch a snake.

"Get that away from me now," Ferne declared as she scurried off.

After taking a breather, she added: "Sorry, I've got a really big fear."

The reality star later admitted she's been haunted by the nail-biting challenge in 2015.

It saw Ferne buried in a dark underground cave surrounded by over 40 jungle pythons which slowly writhed around her neck.

In a VT, the star explained: "People always say to me, 'You've been in the Jungle'. That strengthened my fear of snakes."

But it hasn't stopped her phobia completely, as Ferne confessed she still isn't a big fan of the reptiles.

She said: "I'm sorry - I know they've got a soul and all of that. Snakes are not for me."

The chilling trial left Ferne shaking in fear as she claimed one went in her ear and one was crawling up her leg.

Hosts Ant and Dec watched helplessly as the star was shaking in fear when one slithered over her face.

Despite her fear, she managed to complete the challenge without saying the famous words "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of here!"

It appears the star will never get over the horrifying moment which was broadcast to the nation on the reality show.

But it seems Ferne will have to get used to it if her little girl is a huge lover of all animals.
