Ferne McCann’s mystery boyfriend has been revealed as a businessman with a reported wealth just shy of £30 million, according to reports.

The 30-year-old former The Only Way Is Essex star has been teasing fans with details of her secret romantic life by discussing a mystery man on her ITV2 show, First Time Mum.

And now it has been suggested that the man who has captured her affection – and showered her with gifts – is businessman Charlie Wilson.

The 29-year-old property developer was featured on the Sunday Times Under 30s Rich List and is said to be worth and estimated £29.3 million.

He is director of Chase New Homes and is building new properties in Hertfordshire.

The Sun on Sunday claims Charlie approached Ferne via Instagram and has whisked her off on trips to France in a private jet.

Ferne referenced her new man on her show, saying: “Holy smackaroonies! Mr C has saved the day. Who is this guy?

"Where’s he come from. Has he stepped out of a novel? I’m really excited.”

She said in a second episode that she was being overly spoiled by her enamoured new man, gushing: “I said to him, ‘Please, no more surprises or anything like that. Just a nice classic date!’”

A source close to the businessman told The Sun: “He charmed her with lavish dates and gifts.

“But he isn’t keen on being in the public eye so he didn’t want to be part of her show. He’s very generous but quite shy so found the idea of fame overwhelming.”

While Charlie might be making millions with his successful business venture, Ferne made headlines last week when it was revealed her much hyped fashion range made just £2,000 in a year.

Reports on Saturday suggested her company had only £1,226 in the bank and was £6,666 in the red, with the company last making a profit back in 2018 with £2,300.

Ferne had previously set herself the target of becoming a billionaire with her business vision.
