Emma Willis says she doesn’t own any sexy underwear and has 25 pairs of the same pants – and says her husband Matt is used to it.

The host of The Voice joked that Matt, who found fame in band Busted, thinks lingerie seen in magazines is “not real”.

In a brutally honest conversation about their relationship mum-of-three Emma said: “I don’t think I have done sexy since my wedding day. It is all about comfort, innit?

"You can’t jump around in a G string at the age of 44.

"You just can’t. You can but there is no support, absolutely not.

“My underwear drawer is literally 25 pairs of the same pairs of pants.

"The same colour and same make and it has been the same colour and same make since I met him. He does not know any different.

"I met him when he was 21 so it is almost like I raised him in captivity and just made him believe that this is the way the world is and just to enjoy it.

“It is like ‘It’s just black cotton briefs Matt. That is all there is’.

"He will see something in a magazine and I am like ‘No, it is not real. It is like telly, it is not real’.”

Speaking on the White Wine Question Time podcast, Emma also told how she took the lead when it came to her and Matt having a third child Trixie who was born in May 2016.

They also have an eldest daughter Isabelle born in June 2009 and son, Ace, born in November 2011.

Emma said: “I took the lead with our third child Trixie. I was almost 40 and I thought it’s now or never really. We had not planned the first two.

"They just arrived but the third one I was like I don’t want to regret not trying for a third.

"I always thought I wanted to have three. I came from a three and so did Matt so it felt like a normal number for us.

"Work was going really well and I could have tried into my 40s but you don’t know what is going to happen. I was very proactive in saying 'Its now or never. Hop to it.'

"He was on board, bless him. He was well up for it. I am a massive believer in trusting your gut. I generally go on that and I air on the side of caution.”

Emma also said the coronavirus had made her reassess her time with family and her career.

She added: “Being forced from a pandemic into being present with my kids has very much opened my eyes. I will keep going forward. It has let me open my eyes and how much attention I have to give them as I was so busy with work.
