While our pets are never clothed, we often find it awkward or amusing to strip down naked in front of them - but not for killer supermodel Emily Ratajkowski.

The American actress gave her 29.4 million fans quite the wake-up call on today by laying down next to her beloved dog Columbo, completely nude.

The 31-year-old brunette model and author of My Body was seen striking a more unusual pose than her typical, playfully mimicking her dog's goofy position.

Her racy Instagram snap showed her stretched out on the floor with her hands up by her head, just like her four-legged friend.

She captioned the post "baby boi bumbi" and her dedicated fans flocked to the comments section to shower her with compliments and praise - though many were a tad confused.

One user said: "I don't know how to feel" while another agreed: "It is scary and at the same time incredible".

"Is it just me or is this hella weird," one person wrote.

"I'd be smiling if I was that dog too," a follower cheekily commented.

"I too like to dress like my dog so I can relate to his constant nakedness," someone said.

Many followers guessed the mother-of-one's husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, took the cheeky snap inside their living room.

The happy couple share their fur baby Columbo and their first child, Sylvester Apollo Bear, who they welcomed last March.

Fans can regularly find updates of him on the proud mum's social media, including pics of his first birthday celebrations, which she described as "the most magical day".
