Ellie Goulding has revealed that her talents were used on a famous song - and we had no idea.
The star, 33, told that her vocals feature on Jay-Z and Drake's song Poundcake.
"Here's something I bet you didn't know about me," she told fans in her latest TikTok, Poundcake playing in the background.
"This is my voice on this song."
The 2013 track was part of Drake's 2013 studio album Nothing Was The Same, and features a verse from fellow rapper Jay-Z.
Fans were astonished to learn that Ellie was the one singing - despite the fact that she'd tweeted it when the song was first released seven years ago.
"Honestly been trying to play it cool but Drake and Jay Z sampled me on Pound Cake," she wrote.
And the next year she hinted she'd be up for another collaboration with Canadian-native Drake.
"Obviously he's sampled me on one of his songs before," she told Capital, "and I've done some stuff for him for his new album potentially.
"We converse! He discovered my voice on his last album, he sampled it, and I think he's become a fan through that.
"So who knows, something might happen."
Despite being a bona-fide mega-star who mixes with the likes of Drake and Jay-Z, Ellie relishes the newfound calm of her married life.
The tranquility and steadiness of her marriage to Caspar Jopling, whom she tied the knot with last year at a star-studded ceremony, makes for a refreshing change of pace, she says.
Chatting to GLAMOUR, she recalled of her 20s: "I didn't know who I was.
"I went straight from university to being on tour, so I had no chance to settle into a routine and understand my habits and my personality."
During her 20s, Ellie's romantic portfolio included McFly's Dougie Poynter, Greg James, Jeremy Irvine and reportedly Prince Harry.
Ellie laughed: "It's probably not ideal straight after you get married to suddenly be completely forced together.
