EastEnders star Max Bowden was left in tears as his beloved nan became one of the first in the world to get the coronavirus vaccine.
The TV actor, who plays Ben Mitchell in the BBC One soap, took to Twitter on Wednesday to share the happy news.
Max, 25, said he was looking forward to giving his grandmother a cuddle once she is protected from coronavirus as they have been kept apart by the pandemic.
He tweeted alongside a love heart emoji: "Tears of joy this morning. My nan gets her Covid vaccine today. I can't wait to cuddle her."
Back in June Max said he hadn't seen his nan throughout the pandemic.
He shared a picture of them sitting in the back of the car together as he spoke about how much he missed her.
Max captioned the photo: "I haven't seen my Nan in a month (has never happened) out of fear of the pandemic and her personal health.
"As everybody knows she's my world - so finding it very hard.
"Having an emotional thought tonight for everyone who is isolating away from their families and their vulnerable relatives, but stay strong.
"Together we can all beat this. Unity will prevail. Love to all."
Max's post comes after he was left devastated when his grandad died.
He shared the sad news back in October by posting a picture of himself holding his grandad's hand while he lay in a hospital bed.
