Eamonn Holmes is 'raging with Phillip Schofield over error in explosive book'
This Morning's Eamonn Holmes was reportedly furious with Phillip Schofield over a mistake in his book Life Is What You Make It
Eamonn Holmes is reportedly seething with Phillip Schofield over a blunder in his tell-all book.
Life Is What You Make It has been the talk of the showbiz world as Phil detailed his emotional journey to coming out as gay after 27 years of marriage to his wife Steph.
Juicy gossip of his fiercest feuds with stars from all walks of showbiz also feature in the autobiography.
So it's no wonder This Morning's Eamonn, 60, was allegedly "raging" to find out his name had been carelessly spelt wrong.
A source told The Sun : “Eamonn, with two n’s, is raging. How did no one pick up on this in 400 pages?
“If it’s a joke, Eamonn certainly wasn’t in on it and the error has ruffled feathers, yet again.”
However, insiders admitted Phillip would be "mortified" when he finds out about the "genuine typo" in his book.
A source close to Phillip told the publication: “It’s a genuine typo — Phil didn’t have a clue. He’ll be mortified to think he might have upset Eamonn.”
Mirror Online has reached out to Phillip Schofield and Eamonn Holmes' representatives for further comment.
The two ITV presenters have had clashes behind closed doors in the past.
Phil upset Eamonn's wife Ruth Langsford when he interrupted her live on-air while she was talking during a preview for Loose Women.
Tensions were reported to be simmering backstage at the National Television Awards when they run into each other.
