Though she was spotted rummaging through LA's bins in search for scraps this week, Loni Willison was living a completely different lifestyle just four years ago.
The former swimsuit covergirl, 37, enjoyed the luxurious pleasures the Hollywood life offers after marrying Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson.
The pair wed in 2012 and were inseparable - often appearing at red carpet events together looking madly in love.
But their ill-fated romance crumbled in 2014 after a series of booze-fuelled rows, and the pair divorced just two years after tying the knot.
Loni kept a low profile following her split from Jeremy, occasionally resurfacing to publicly critique her ex.
After the former Baywatch star was booted from the CelebrityBig Brother UK house in 2015 for exposing housemate Chloe Goodman's breast, Loni urged her to press charges against the actor.
She told The Daily Beast at the time: "Chloe should report Jeremy to the police for his own good.
"I didn't report him when he attacked me because I was scared. I was in a bad place emotionally and I didn't want Jeremy to go to jail.
"At least now everyone can see what I had to put up with. It's irresponsible of the producers to let him on there and give him alcohol with his history of addiction problems. Something was bound to happen."
It was around that time when her own life took a left turn after she suffered a mental breakdown - leading her to lose her job as an assistant at a cosmetic surgery centre in LA.
After losing her job, Loni was dealt with a series of blows that left her in a hopeless situation.
Her lack of income soon made her unable to pay bills, and subsequently, rent.
This saw the former covergirl become evicted from her apartment as she could no longer afford even the upkeep of her car.
Loni then ended up on the streets with just the contents of a suitcase.
What came next was the battle of a lifetime, as she soon developed an addiction to crystal meth, with her mental health plummeting soon after.
Amidst her battle with addiction and her mental health woes, Loni previously admitted to doing everything she could have to avoid being assaulted out on the streets.
Speaking in 2018, Loni said she hadn't showered in over a year and kept herself looking as dirty as possible to avoid being abused.
Speaking that year, Loni told DailyMailTV : "I lost two jobs. It's been two years, I've been on the streets since. it's a survival of the fittest thing.
"I do have a lot of friends, many many friends, and family, but everyone I talked to at the time seemed really strange.
"I struggled to get across to them what I was talking about, even really simple things, so I just stopped talking to everybody."
In October 2018, Loni disappeared - with her friends and those close to her having no idea of her whereabouts.
Her disappearance took place soon after her pals attempted to check her into rehab - something she was against.
And after being missing for over 24 months, Loni was this week spotted out and about on LA's streets with a cigarette between her teeth as she dug through bins in a desperate bid to find food and clothing.
Speaking to The Sun, the former fitness model who rejected offers of help, said: “I haven't spoken to Jeremy. I don't want to speak to my friends, I'm doing just fine. I don't want anyone to help me."
She added: "I can live on my own. I've got everything I need right here. Nobody really cares about me and I don’t want to see them, they don’t want to see me."
She added: "I haven’t got a cell phone. I've got food and I've got a place to sleep. I get money here and there and there’s food in the bins and near the stores. There’s lots here."
Before her disappearance two years ago, Loni was offered a lifeline when her former model friend Kristin Rossetti.
Kristin - who saw heartbreaking pictures of her sleeping under a shopping cart on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood - tracked her friend down and put her in a hotel for the night, giving her fresh clothes and a hot meal.
The ladies spent all night talking, but in the morning, Loni turned down an offer for free addiction treatment and fled.
A devastated Kristin said at the time: "We tried everything we could but just couldn't get through to her.
"Loni needs our help desperately, she needs to be off the streets and getting care. It makes me so sad, but you can't force someone to accept your help, she needs to want to help herself."
