Dominic West's wife believes his kiss with Lily James was more than a one-off as their marriage hangs by a thread, it's claimed.
The Affair star, 51, was spotted kissing Lily, 31, on a romantic break to Rome last month, and it's now been reported that he's confessed that he has feelings for her.
Days after pictures of the kiss emerged, Dominic and his wife Catherine FitzGerald posed for a staged photoshoot outside their home and assured photographers that their marriage is fine.
Catherine, 49, is said to have thought that the smooch was just a one-time thing, but now she believes there's more to it than that.
A source told The Sun : "Catherine has told those closest to her that Dominic has admitted having feelings for Lily.
"At first it seemed as though the whole thing was just a one-off but Catherine has since said it's become obvious it was more than that."
Catherine is reportedly "crushed" by the revelation and she is struggling with "coming to terms with" what has happened.
The insider added: "She has since told the people closest to her their marriage is as good as over now and she doesn’t think there is a way past this."

The couple had told photographers that their marriage was "strong" and they were "very much still together".
Shortly after the photoshoot Catherine left for her native Ireland, reportedly for a "crisis summit' with her family while Dominic stayed behind in England.
He told MailOnline that Catherine is in Ireland for a work trip and they are "very much together" and their "relationship is fine".
