DJ Akademiks Says He Called The Cops On Meek Mill

According to DJ Akademiks, he actually called the police on Meek Mill after the rapper supposedly put a hit on him. More specifically, Meek Mill reportedly said he put a “green light” over DJ Akademiks‘ head.

Hot New Hip Hop says Meek Mill was recently ordered to no longer post on DJ Akademiks’ page on IG, leading to Meek Mill fighting a war of words with the commentator. Hip-hop fans know the pair of men aren’t exactly getting along these days.

For instance, DJ Akademiks referred to him as a “hypocrite,” and that was when Meek Mill said there was a “green light” over his head. According to Hot New Hip Hop, putting the “green light” on someone is an invitation for gang members to lay a beating on a person, or maybe even kill them.

Reportedly, once Akademiks heard Meek’s threat, he got the police involved. As it was previously reported, Akademiks and Tekashi 6ix9ine were having a conversation over a Livestream recently and the commentator said Meek Mill was nothing more than a “hypocrite.”

Akademiks cited a number of his beefs with other people in the industry, including Tekashi 6ix9ine, Nicki Minaj, Nicki Minaj’s husband, and more. Tekashi 6ix9ine hasn’t been getting along with Meek Mill either.

When 6ix9ine first got out of prison, Meek Mill was one of his most vocal critics, saying that Hernandez really violated one of the most important codes in the scene: loyalty and not speaking with the police.

6ix9ine has addressed this allegation before during an Instagram live stream. The rapper explained how he felt no loyalty from the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. According to 6ix9ine, they slept with his baby momma, stole money from him, and involved him in a kidnapping scheme.

Tekashi 6ix9ine was willing to work closely with the authorities, and his testimony led to the conviction of several of the Nine Trey Gangsta Blood members, including Anthony “Harv” Ellison, who was put away behind bars following his conviction.

However, his testimony led to his status as a persona non grata in the industry.
