Alison Hammond has taken over the This Morning's hot seat, presenting and editing the award-winning daytime show.
Fans are loving the special edition of the programme, which is normally hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, after she introduced a ban of any Covid news, asked a tap-dancing troupe to perform and insisted on hunky male models for a fashion segment by Gok Wan.
But many viewers forget that Alison shot to fame after appearing on series three of Big Brother alongside Jade Goody, PJ and Kate Lawler.
Sadly she got voted out after just two weeks, becoming the second evictee on June 8, 2002.
In that short time she blazed a trail of outrageousness - destroying furniture, 'weeing' in the showers and winding up her more hygienic housemates just for the bants.
But it wasn't her house antics that landed her her dream job, and it was her eviction interview that impressed TV bosses.
Former cinema worker Alison burst into tears after her name was read out and she heard the shattering words "Alison, you have been evicted" - but didn't realise her eviction was going to change her life for good.
Recalling the moment, she said: “I was absolutely devastated at the time. I was enjoying myself and was really upset when I had to leave," said the former cinema worker, who'd hoped to win the £70,000.
“I had gone in to win the money and was gutted when I didn’t.
“But a producer from This Morning saw my eviction and said I was the ideal person to present a slot for them. If he hadn’t seen me I wouldn’t have got the job.
“If I had stayed in Big Brother until the end, I probably wouldn’t have had the career I have.
“So it was the best thing that ever happened to me."
Speaking about her This Morning editing gig, she told the Mirror: "It will just be a joy! There will be nothing about lockdown or coronavirus.
"There’ll be a lot of recipes and food… and maybe a little bit of fashion and fun.
"It’s going to be great and I’m excited to be the boss!"
Martin Frizell, the show's normal editor, said: "I still can’t quite believe I’ve agreed to this... But yes, on Friday our Alison Hammond will be stepping into my shoes and taking charge of This Morning.
