Miley Cyrus paid a heartbreaking tribute to her grandmother after she died.
The singer, 27, affectionately called her grandmother "Mammie".
Miley's grandma, the mother of her mum Tish, whose real name was Loretta Finley, was one of her biggest supporters.
It's thought she was aged 85.
Miley wrote on Twitter : "Even though you are gone.... NOTHING has or ever will change. You will FOREVER be my inspiration and fashion icon. Even more than that the ultimate model of being a true LIGHT in a dark world. You are sunshine.
"Everyday I wake and see that fiery ball in the sky I will see your face. Then say a prayer thanking heaven above for giving me the best grandmother a girl could ever be gifted. I will miss you for the rest of my life....
"I will keep your spirit here by continuing to do good for others and treating them the way we all desire to be treated. With an infinite amount of the same gentle kindness you displayed daily. We will ache everyday you are not with us...."
Former Hannah Montana star Miley also shared a video of her grandmother being interviewed on the red carpet.
The reporter asked: "Grandma Ray Cyrus, what should I call you?"
"Mammie," she told him as he laughed.
When Miley came along, she said: "Oh she is the fiercest person I know, that's all I know, she is my inspiration and my fashion icon."
She also shared a cute video of herself dancing with her Mammie.
Miley's fans rushed to offer their condolences.
One wrote: "we love you SO much sending all the prayers to you and everyone of your family!"
Another fan told her: "take all the time you need right now, we fans care more about your mental health than about new music. Your grandma is very proud of you and she loved you very much we are here for you, we love you"
While another commented: "Just keep being strong, which is what you've always been. Praying for you."
Miley loved sharing the spotlight with her Mammie and regularly took her along on red carpets and to The Voice studio, where Miley was one of the coaches.
