Daisy May Cooper paid tribute to her late co-star Michael Sleggs as she unveiled her new born son's name on social media.
The This Country star, 34, revealed that her baby boy is called Jack Michael Weston.
His middle name had been dedicated to her late This Country co-star.
The actress welcomed her baby at the start of September but was forced to remain in hospital because of complications.
She has since returned home where she has been sharing lots of candid updates about her post partum journey.
In her latest social media post, Daisy finally unveiled the touching tribute alongside an adorable picture of the tot sitting in a car seat.
"Lots of you have been asking what the bubbas name is," she wrote in the caption.
"We have named him Jack Michael weston. The middle name Michael after our dear friend Michael sleggs who we lost last year. May the spirit of sluggs live on!️ @willwestonlandscape."
She shared the caption alongside an adorable picture of baby Jack while he snoozed in the back of a car.
Daisy had dressed her newborn in a cute grey outfit and wrapped him up in a big fluffy blue blanket.
In the past week, Daisy has been settling back at home after returning from hospital where she had been kept because of complications.
In an earlier post she had praised the efforts the medical team that had helped her through the pregnancy.
She wrote: "Cannot thank @deliverysuitegrh for all they are doing for our little bubba and me.
"Its been quite a traumatic few days and they have gone above and beyond."
The comedy star has also been praised by followers for the meaningful name she had decided upon, dedicated to her late co-star Michael.
This Country's Michael Sleggs died at the age of 33 in 2019 after suffering from heart failure.
He had starred alongside Daisy and her brother Charlie in the hit comedy sitcom.
