AJ Pritchard has discussed tensions with Shane Richie as brother Curtis says Shane's son made 'nasty' comments.
In the latest episode of their podcast AJ v Curtis, the Pritchard brothers discussed the tense moments between AJ and former EastEnders star Shane.
A disagreement emerged over washing up whilst the pair were in the Castle camp.
Following the tense scenes, Richie's son Shane Nolan shared some rather honest remarks about AJ, referring to him as a "little b***h".
Now in the new episode of the Pritchards' podcast, Curtis notes: "I saw there was a lot of tension here or there. Shane's son [Shane Jr.] has been saying a lot nasty stuff, actually.
"I've got to say he's been saying a couple of bad words about you and a couple of bad words about me, but what's the actual deal with you and Shane?"
AJ then responds: "Shane's good. He's a good guy, a great storyteller, as we can all see on the show. We're simple.
"We've got our own little jobs, especially when had camp leader, we all got assigned our jobs. I feel like everybody needs to pull their weight."
The former Strictly Come Dancing professional says that he was merely focused on hygiene and wanted to make sure people all did their bit.
"If you don't stand your ground in those situations, people are just going to walk all over you," concluded AJ.
"I may be small but I'm still going to give my opinion."
Noting the silence in camp when the disagreement happened, Curtis commented: "I think everyone was on your side with that one, AJ."
The remarks come after Shane himself rejected rumours of a 'rift' between him and AJ when speaking to ITV ahead of the I'm A Celebrity final.
Shane said:"I don't get it. I didn't see what they thought they saw.
"Me and AJ, we did a trial together and then when I was leader of the camp and he wanted to do another one I said: 'AJ mate, do you want to do it? You will be brilliant out there.'
"I used to talk to him about, 'I would be so proud of you', because I have got two boys. I remember saying, 'I would be proud to have you as my son'.
"We had some great chats so I don't know where that comes from."
Meanwhile, Shane Jr. later defended his remarks about AJ on social media, noting: "Can I just say I don't agree with some of the comments said about AJ tonight, I'm not actually that bothered.
"He seems sound but just not my cup of tea and I'm sure he would feel the same. Now move on folks."
