Courtney Stodden accuses Brian Austin Green of using his kids with Megan Fox 'as a flex'

Courtney Stodden has waded into the row between Brian Austin Green and his ex Megan Fox after the actress scolded him for sharing a picture of their son Journey on Instagram

Courtney Stodden has accused Brian Austin Green of using his kids with Megan Fox "as a flex".

The Instagram model, 26, claims to have dated the actor over the summer following his split from Transformer star Fox, the mother of his three children.

Green, 47, and Fox, 34, became embroiled in a row on social media over the weekend when the actress scolded the TV star for posting a picture of their son Journey on Instagram.

Fox insisted she tries to shield her sons from the spotlight and accused Green of painting her as an "absent mother".

Stodden, 26, has now waded into the row, sharing a candid post about her romance with Green and accusing him of using his children as an excuse to get out of dates.

She wrote: "I’m so proud of Megan for speaking up about the way Brian seems to use his kids as a flex.

"During my time spent with him, when I was over at his house, his kids were never there. They were always with Megan. She wasn’t an absent mother. And yet, like she says - she doesn’t plaster them all over her social. "There were times Brian would tell me that he couldn’t see me because he had his kids - and I later found out that this wasn’t true, he was actually just seeing other women at those times. "Like, dude - you’re allowed to see other people, just be honest about it. To me and to them. And don’t use your kids as your lie."

She accused Green of dating "many women at once" and "acting like this doting single dad".

Stodden added: "How could all of us women who he’d tried to play be mad at such a loving father?...

"The whole experience was a bit gross. Women and children are not props. How long until men realize this?"

Fox's row with Green exploded on Instagram on Sunday after he shared a picture of himself dressed up for Halloween standing next to his son Journey, four.

She left a comment on the picture telling him he should have cropped the youngster out of the snap.

Fox wrote: "Why does Journey have to be in this picture? It's not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren't in.

"I had a great halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media. I know you love your kids. But I don't know why you can't stop using them to posture via Instagram.

"You're so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I'm an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year. You have them half of the time.

"Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human! Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?"

Green has since cropped Journey out of the picture.
