Corrie star Lucy Fallon has been given the thumbs-up by fans after unveiling her new look.

Taking to Instagram with a fresh hair style, the 24-year-old revealed she'd hacked away at her locks to give herself a sleek new bob.

The Bethany Platt actress's new 'do looked worlds away from her character's wavy locks that tumbled over her shoulders.

Now she boasts a chic, sophisticated bob that frames her face, which she complimented with a lowkey application of makeup.

Sharing a selfie to her Instagram Stories, the blonde beauty wrote: "In other news - I have a bob."

Lucy's set to join the likes of Jack Fincham, Kimberley Walsh and Joe Weller on ITV's upcoming Don't Rock The Boat.

The reality show will see a bunch of famous faces take on the gruelling task of rowing the length on Britain.

The 12 celebs will be split up into two teams of six, with Lucy joined by Jack, Kimberley, Joe, The Chase's Shaun Wallace and Olympic gold medalist Denise Lewis OBE.

The other team will be comprised of Lucy's Corrie co-star Craig Charles, Fleur East, Tom Watson, Jodie Kidd, Adam Thomas and Victoria Pendleton CBE.

They will row more than 500 miles across five shows from Land's End in Cornwall to John O'Groats right at the top of Scotland.

Spanning Monday to Friday next week, the show will be fronted by Top Gear's Freddie Flintoff and The Voice's AJ Odudu.

And while fans will be delighted to see Lucy back on our screens, they're desperate to know whether she'll be braving I'm A Celebrity come November.

While no names have yet been confirmed, and Ant & Dec are remaining tight-lipped, Lucy's was one of the names floated to head to the ruined Welsh castle to battle the wind and rain.

She was first tipped back in June to be taking part, bookies Ladbrokes claiming: "Lucy Fallon is fast-becoming a dead-cert to be the next soap star to appear on I'm A Celeb."

The show has been moved from its usual Aussie jungle setting to the spooky Gwrych Castle in Wales after Covid threw a spanner in the works.

But fans breathed a sigh of relief earlier this year when ITV bosses confirmed it was going ahead.
