Colson Smith looked sensational as he showed off his slimmed-down frame after a sweaty workout.

The Coronation Street star, 22, looked almost unrecognisable as he was spied leaving his gym in Manchester as he continues to lead a healthy lifestyle by frequently working out.

The actor - who plays Craig Tinker on the hit soap - used the months during lockdown to get fitter than ever, and it's safe to say he looks incredible after his transformation.

Colson displayed a serious exterior as he was leaving his gym in Manchester.

The star was bumping along to some beats whilst wearing headphones, proving that he was still in the zone following his sweat sesh.

Colson donned all-black attire for his workout, wearing a GymShark T-shirt paired with simple black sports trousers.

The actor first showcased his impressive new look at a showbiz event in March before the lockdown was imposed.

He stepped out on the red carpet looking noticeably trimmer in a tight-fitting suit.

Colson's weight loss journey kick started in December after losing the drastic amount of weight from food poisoning.

His weight loss was further spurred on by his role in Corrie, as his police officer character Craig had to chase shoplifters on the soap, and so he took up running.

He revealed that he lost around ten stone when Corrie stopped filming during the coronavirus lockdown.

He previously joked that he may have to wear a fat suit when he returns to work.

The soap star told The Sun: "We are in direct continuity, but I've almost lost about ten stone since we left work so I'm not sure that [my hair] is going to be the biggest of their issues.

"I might be wearing a wig and a fat suit when we go back. Now we go to a purple shampoo, which almost makes it a platinum sort of colour, which basically takes the ginger pigment out.

"So the yellow-ness will go, and I will have a head of blonde hair, which I technically do now."
