Coleen Rooney was snapped out and about, chatting on the phone and picking up a coffee after Rebekah Vardy became the latest celeb announced for 2021's Dancing On Ice line-up.

The WAGs have been locked in a nail-biting battle since Coleen last year accused Rebekah's Instagram account of leaking stories about her to the press - which the latter firmly denies.

And as they prepare to face off across the court room, Rebekah made a surprise appearance during today's Good Morning Britain to announce that she'd be taking to the ice come January.

Mum-of-four Coleen cut an athletic figure as she stepped out for her coffee run in active wear, including leggings, trainers, and a lightweight rain coat.

She tied her hair back into a tight bun as she scrolled through her phone before taking a call in the street.

Rebekah called into GMB from her car, gushing about how "excited" she is to don her skates and dive headfirst into the "sequins and glam" the show's known for.

And host Piers Morgan couldn't help but quiz Rebekah about her looming High Court showdown with Coleen.

The court case will unfold within weeks, a judge has ordered.

Rebekah is seeking substantial damages because she claims Coleen's allegations have resulted in her suffering "severe and extreme hostility and abuse."

"Look, we tried to sort things out amicably, it just didn't work," Rebekah told Piers, "I understand people think it's ridiculous, but you know..what was I meant to do?

"I need to clear my name."

She added: "I want to clear my name. I will do whatever that takes. I hope it's going to be resolved soon.

"It's just one of the things that has to go through the process unfortunately now."

When Piers asked if she'd found the fallout of their clash difficult to cope with, Rebekah replied: "I found it really tough.

"But to be fair Piers, in comparison to what some people have gone through with COVID and things like that, it's incomparable."

Rebekah is the seventh celeb to put their name down for the skating competition.
