Coleen Rooney pays tribute to husband Wayne on his birthday with adorable snaps
Wayne Rooney is celebrating his 35th birthday and wife Coleen has shared a touching tribute to her husband with snaps from the family celebrations
Coleen Rooney has paid tribute to her husband Wayne Rooney on his 35th birthday with some sweet family snaps.
The WAG, 34, took to her social media accounts to show off what the family were up to on the big day.
On her Instagram page, Coleen shared an image of Wayne blowing out the candles on his green birthday cake.
Surrounding Wayne were green and white balloons bearing the word 'Dad', while the father-of-four was surrounded by his sons: Kai, 10, Klay, seven, Kit, four, and two-year-old Cass.
Coleen captioned the adorable image: "Birthday mornings....[blue heart emoji]".
She also shared a selection of images including photos of Coleen and Wayne on various holidays looking suitably loved up.
An additional flurry of snaps showed Wayne being a loving dad to his four boys over the years.
Coleen captioned the post: "Happy Birthday @waynerooney. We all love you so much!."
The images come as Wayne self-isolates at home after unknowingly coming into contact with a friend who tested positive for Covid-19.
Despite testing negative himself, Wayne has been forced to miss football games for Derby County as a result of his isolating with his family for 14 days.
At least Wayne is surrounded by his loving wife and children for the duration.
Wayne tweeted: "Just received the news that my covid-19 test has shown I do not have the virus.
"Delighted for myself and family but obviously angry and disappointed that I now have to self-isolate and miss vital games for Derby County."
The isolating comes as Coleen prepares for a case at the High Court to take on fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy, who has sued her for libel.
Coleen had previously accused the person behind Rebekah's account of leaking stories from her private Instagram page.
Coleen claimed she had only made the stories available to view to Rebekah's account, enabling her to supposedly deduce that Vardy was the culprit.
In a now infamous social media post, Coleen posted the results of her supposed findings with the line: "Its... Rebekah Vardy's account."
Rebekah vehemently denied the accusations and accused Coleen of libel and is taking her to caught to clear her name.
