Coleen Rooney 'fears sex life secrets will come out' in Wagatha Christie trial

Coleen Rooney and her husband Wayne are reportedly worried about private details of their marriage coming out in their upcoming libel battle with Rebekah Vardy

Coleen Rooney and her husband Wayne are reportedly worried about private details of their sex life being revealed during her upcoming libel battle with Rebekah Vardy.

The pair have been at loggerheads since last year when Coleen alleged Rebekah's Instagram account had been used to leak stories about her to the press.

Fellow WAG Rebekah denied the allegations and has since launched a libel lawsuit against Coleen which is heading to the High Court.

The Sun on Sunday now reports Coleen and Wayne are worried private details about their marriage will come out in court, including evidence about their sex life.

The publication reports the main concern is a fake story Coleen planted on her private Instagram account, and was later published in the press.

It was about Coleen. who is mum to four boys, planning to fly to Mexico to undergo gender selection treatment for their next child after spending years longing for a daughter.

A source told The Sun: "The gender selection rumour is likely to be the focus of the case.

"It throws up all sorts of questions. Becky’s lawyers will be within their rights to ask intimate details about Coleen and Wayne’s marriage and physical relationship."

The source adds that Coleen wants to avoid intimate questions about her marriage but she is prepared to go through it if it helps her win the case.

Coleen set up her own sting operation to catch whoever had been passing on information from her private Instagram page to the press last year.

She posted a series of fake stories, blocked all her followers apart from Rebekah's account and then sprung a gotcha post online when the hoax posts made their way into the papers.

Rebekah vehemently denied she was behind the leaks, insisting a number of people had access to her Instagram page - and is going to court in a bid to prove her innocence.

After Coleen's post last October, Rebekah released a statement to strenuously deny she was behind the leak.

Rebekah wrote: "I wish you had called me if you thought this.

"I never speak to anyone about you as various journalists who have asked me to over the years can vouch for.

"I'm not being funny but I don't need the money, what would I gain from selling stories on you?...
