Chrissy Teigen reassured fans she was feeling "really good" as she took her first shower in two months since the tragic loss of her baby son Jack.
The model shared a video to Instagram as she emerged from the shower in a bathrobe, hair wrapped in a towel.
"I've been taking baths because I couldn't stand to be in the shower — I couldn't, like, physically stand in the shower," Chrissy explained.
"I feel really really good. Thank you for all my happy birthday wishes. Thank you. I feel very clear and very good."
In a subsequent update Chrissy, who turned 35 last week, told fans: "It's been a ride, it has been a journey, and I am happy to be back again."
Chrissy has moved many with her openness about the devastating loss of her third child.
The Sports Illustrated cover model and husband John Legend shared heart-breaking images from the hospital following Jack's September stillbirth. Chrissy has since been chronicling her recovery with regular updates.
Her open approach to heartbreak is typical for Chrissy, who has long been candid about the highs and lows of motherhood - from her fertility troubles, to undergoing IVF, and her subsequent postpartum depression.
In a further Instagram post on Wednesday, cookbook author Chrissy shared a Hannah Gadsby quote.
"There is nothing stronger than a broken woman who has rebuilt herself," it read.
Last week she wrote movingly about her recovery, telling fans: "When I’m old and grey, I will look back on the last two months as being brutal, exhausting, sad, physically challenging, mentally painful b***hes of a couple months."
Chrissy and Oscar-winning singer John are also parents to daughter Luna, four, and son Miles, two.
