Chris Hemsworth enjoyed Father's Day in Australia surrounded by a bath tub of bubbles and family.

The Hollywood hunk, 37, was covered in bubbles from head to toe, and his wife Elsa Pataky certainly seemed to enjoy the heartwarming moment.

The Spanish model, 44, paid tribute to husband of 10 years Chris by sharing the sweet snap on Instagram in honour of Father's Day down under, which is celebrated on September 6th.

Sharing the belated post, proud wife Elsa penned: "A little late, but happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads out there. Especially to this one," alongside a lovestruck emoji.

Chris and son Tristan, six, seemed to be having a whale of a time in the bath, as both used the bubbles on their heads to create the impression of fake beards.

The Thor star also shares daughters India, eight, and Sasha, six, with wife Elsa.

The family lives in Byron Bay, and often share what they're up to with fans on social media.

Chris, who is the middle Hemsworth brother to Liam, 30, and Luke, 39, recently decided to take a step back from acting in order to spend more time with his family.

In an interview with GQ Australia back in May, Chris admitted that the older his kids get, the "harder" he finds it to be away from them for work.

Opening up about the challenges his Hollywood career often presents him with, he said: "For a little while you don't think the kids notice and then you realise they do."

Chris admitted that he's often faced with the decision to make films he's "proud of", or staying at home with his family for some much-needed quality time.

He explained: "You can fall into a false sense of self-importance on a film set, where you feel you're special, so it's good to remind yourself that it's not that case. And kids certainly drive that home.

But the actor couldn't pass up the role of Hulk Hogan in a forthcoming Netflix biopic.
