The new post comes about two weeks after E! News confirmed that Chelsea Houska’s time on Teen Mom had come to an end.

Now, in a heartfelt statement, the 29 year old broke her silence on her decade-long journey as well as her departure, sharing how she feels!
The star shared a family pic showing Cole and the kids, Aubree, 10, Watson, 3, and Layne, 2.

In the picture’s caption, she went on to write: ‘MTV’s Teen Mom has been a big part of my life for almost eleven years. After much thought and discussion with family and friends, Cole [DeBoer] and I have decided that this season will be our last. We are parting on the best of terms and we will stay in touch long after this. We are proud to have been able to share our story and we are so grateful to all the fans who have followed our journey from the beginning.’
Chelsea went on to share some details about her and Cole’s plans for the future, stating that the ‘next chapter’ would be all about ‘developing our brand and taking things to the next level with new endeavours and expanding family businesses.’
The network went ahead and wished their departing star the best of luck with everything else she is planning to do in her career.
One statement posted on the show’s IG account reads, in part: ‘From watching her journey as a young mother committed to doing everything possible for her daughter, to seeing her relationship with Cole blossom into a happy marriage to becoming an entrepreneur, our viewers have been there through it all and always looked to Chelsea for inspiration and advice.’
