Celebrity chef Rachael Ray is reportedly "safe" after fire is thought to have destroyed her New York home.

Entertainment Tonight have reported that Rachael, along with her husband John Cusimano and their dog Bella are all safe, after Warren County Sheriff's Office confirmed there a fire at a house on Chuckwagon Trail in Lake Luzerne.

The 51-year-old chef's representative has reportedly told ET that the house is "unfortunately damaged and we don't yet know to what extent."

Firefighters continue to battle the blaze at the scene.

Multiple fire departments are reportedly battling the blaze at the celebrity chef’s home after they were called to the scene at 7.27pm local time.

Additional departments and tankers were called to provide water and assistance.

In total, 12 fire departments were at the scene as they looked to get the blaze under control.

Photos showed the house engulfed in flames with the roof on fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Rachael Ray had been using the home to film some scenes for her show during the lockdown period.

The Rachael Ray Show has been running on US television since 2006, though it is currently in a break during the summer months.

Running for 14 seasons so far, the show is described as being about "quick meals, celebrity surprises, provocative discussions and hot musical performances."

The talk show has twice seen Rachael pick up a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show/Informative.
