Carol Vorderman tells world to ‘watch out’ as she’s feeling more flexible after retreat

Carol Vorderman was spotted taking part in a gruelling workout session whilst on her fitness and wellness trip in Portugal, where she has managed to drop over one dress size

Carol Vorderman is feeling and looking fitter than ever after taking part in a two-week juice retreat.

The 61-year-old former Countdown star has been keen to document her time on the fitness and wellness trip in Portugal, founded by lifestyle coach Jason Vale.

As well as working up a sweat in the gym with Alex Scott, Carol has also made time for swimming and yoga during the break.

And it appears the presenter is certainly reaping the benefits.

Earlier this week, Carol revealed that she is dropped over one dress size since embarking on her latest fitness venture.

Ahead of departing the luxury resort, the Celebrity Gogglebox star made time for a session with personal trainer Gemma at the retreat.

Carol was put through her paces with the help of the PT as she took part in various exercises, including band and ball work.

The pair were seen working on specific moves to target their core and legs in a clip shared on Twitter on Friday.

In the video, Carol sported a skintight vest top and leggings as she carefully followed the PT's instructions.

Captioning the video, she wrote: "Great time for hours yesterday being put through my paces with Gemma from #thebouncefitmethod on the platform at @jasonvale #juicemasterresort.

"Coming home stronger and more flexible and happy as happy can be.... watch out world I'm coming atcha. BOOOMMMMM."

Carol was accused of putting her fans "to shame" as they praised the star's effort in the comments.

One wrote: "You are putting us all to shame. Great effort."

A second gushed: "Best figure in world. Hands down! Just insane."

Another added: "Time for an exercise with Carol series."

The maths whizz is on a Juicy Master Retreat in Portugal, where prices start from £1,475 a week for your own room.

Billed as a “stunning juice, yoga and fitness retreat”, it takes place in a deep forest location overlooking a river.

A typical day on the boutique retreat includes meditation or wake up yoga, swimming in the infinity pool, walks, circuit training, spin classes and HIIT workouts.

Guests are also served four healthy juices throughout the day and have the option to add on treatments such as massages, facials, colonics and cryotherapy sessions.

Speaking about her weight loss on the trip, Carol told fans: "We're coming home soon....still another day to go. 18 days -3 days (going to restaurants) = 15 days on juice here at @juicemasterretreats @jasonvale," the mum-of-two began telling her online fans in her latest fitness update.

"I've dropped over a dress size and bursting with energy. Haven't been into these shorts for a few years and now they're loose. Boommmm," she continued. "My other half here @jules__sampson has dropped TWO dress sizes and looks incredible and feels so strong."
