The Goldbergs actor took to his go-to social media platform, Instagram, to post a video in which he passionately defended himself against accusations of sexual misconduct once again. Furthermore, Bryan Callen also announced that, amid the scandal, he would be taking a ‘leave of absence’ from his podcast!
This comes after Los Angeles Times published an article in which no less than four women came out to say that Bryan Callen had acted inappropriately towards them in the past.
Bryan Callen has been vehemently denying the allegations against him and it looks like he will continue to do so even while leaving his popular podcast.
After all, after his previous statement released to the press in which he addressed everything, people were expecting Callen to discuss the accusations in more detail on The Fighter and The Kid – his podcast.
Instead, he took to IG and explained why he chose to not only release a statement but also take a ‘leave of absence’ from the podcast.
The comedian and actor said in part: ‘When you are in a situation like I am, you get advice from many different people, and it falls into two different categories, usually. They either tell you to just post a statement and then disappear or say to lay low and let the news pass you by. Well, for better or worse, I am not doing any of that. I never thought in a million years I’d be sitting here defending myself against something that I did not do 21 years ago.’

I wanted you to see me say that, I did not want to post some stale statement. I wanted you to hear it come out of my mouth.’
Finally, Bryan Callen announced that he will be leaving his weekly podcast for the time being. To learn more about what he had to say, make sure to watch his video in its entirety!
