Britney Spears' husband Sam Asghari has said her children should not be ashamed by their mother's racy pictures on social media.

Britney finally got her freedom back after her entire life was ruled and regulated by her father, Jamie Spears, after she was put under a conservatorship back in 2008 after her public breakdown.

Since being able to gain access on her life again, Britney has been making the most of her freedom by posting provocative and nude selfies all over Instagram, as well as calling out her family for 'abuse' and 'neglect' in recent weeks as she's finally able to use her voice again.

However in a bombshell TV interview following more than a decade of silence since his split from the global superstar, Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline last week claimed it was their sons' decision not to attend her wedding to Asghari in June and that they find it difficult to deal with their mum's loud social media presence. And it appears that Asghari has responded to Federline's claims on Instagram on Monday.

In the now-deleted Instagram story, Sam wrote: "Even if there was truth to her kids being ashamed of their mother's choices and positive body image they wouldn't be the first teenagers embarrassed of their parents. Most kids are embarrassed of their parents at one point.

But fans have been concerned by her provocative and naked photos

"There mere presence of a parent can humiliate a teenager. It's so common it has been a storyline used over and over on TV and in films for decades.

"Eventually if not already, they will realise their mother's choices are harmless and an expression of newly-found freedom. There is nothing to be embarrassed about just lots of things to be proud of."

Britney, 40, and former dancer Kevin, 44, were married between 2004 and 2007, with the couple sharing two children - Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15.

Speaking about the children's wedding snub, Kevin revealed in the interview shared on MailOnline: "The boys have decided they are not seeing her right now. It's been a few months since they've seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding."

Kevin also added that he tried to explain to his sons about the numerous nude photos that Britney shared with her 41.9 million followers as "another way she tries to express herself", but admitted that it is tough for Sean and Jayden.

He added: ""I try to explain to them, 'Look, maybe that's just another way she tries to express herself'. But that doesn't take away from the fact of what it does to them. It's tough. I can't imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school."
