When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie first fell in love in 2004, it was clear from the outset that it would be no normal relationship.
After extricating himself from his marriage to Jennifer Aniston, Brad adopted Ange's son Maddox and quickly added four more children to their brood.
The 'Brangelina Bunch' took on a nomadic lifestyle, living out of suitcases and travelling the globe to shoot films and carry out humanitarian work before tying the knot six years ago today.
Both adrenaline junkies, they flew planes, rode motorbikes, and would disappear into the desert for a kinky night under the stars without the kids.
Indeed, their often-fractious relationship - which ended in 2016 - is only said to have lasted as long as it did because of their red-hot physical attraction.
According to a friend, Brad was the 'best sex' reformed wild child Ange has ever had and she fears she'll never find anything as good again.
“Even though Brad’s the last thing she wants to be thinking about when it comes to her sex life, she just can’t help it because he was everything to her,” a source recently told Hollywood Life.
“It wasn’t just that their physical attraction was so strong, they had a soul connection."
The former couple made no secret of their animal attraction, with Angelina once spotted perusing blindfolds, feather ticklers and books on sex positions at London sex store Coco De Mer before dropping £1,000 on naughty goodies.
"Angelina bought sexy, lacy underwear and sex books. She loves looking at underwear and loves anything that's made of leather," a source told The Mirror at the time. "Brad's one lucky guy."
From romping behind the waterfall of their swimming pool in LA to their passion for pregnant sex, Brad revelled in his wife's spiciness.
"She’s still a bad girl. Delightfully so," he said in 2012. "It’s not for public consumption.”
But with great passion comes great bust-ups, and Brad and Ange were no stranger to a public barney, having an explosive set-to on the balcony of their hotel in Sydney, Australia in 2014.
Many of the couple’s worst arguments are said to have occurred while living in the UK while Brad was filming Allied the year before their divorce.
The former couple took their children to Legoland in Berkshire in October 2015 where they allegedly had a furious row in front of shocked onlookers.
At one point Brad was seen grabbing at his wife’s arm before she pulled away from him shouting at the same time.
Later as Angelina tried to walk away from him, Pitt was seen throwing his arms around her.
“The rows would sometimes explode over trivial things,” a source said.
“Angie felt like Brad wanted to live like a single guy, while Brad thought Angie was nagging him all time.
“The rows gradually got worse and worse and became increasingly difficult to hide from the kids."
Rumours of an impending split did the rounds in 2010 amid claims they were fighting over everything from how to raise their kids and the lives they wanted to live to politics and their schedules.
Angelina even wrote their film By The Sea - about a hard-drinking husband and his depressed wife - in the hope of addressing their problems.
“Brad and I have our issues," she boldly told the Telegraph.
“To be clear: we have fights and problems like any other couple. We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad and want space."
And when Ange finally filed for divorce in September 2016 after a furious in-flight fight with Brad, a producer from their first film, Mr and Mrs Smith said the only surprise was that they'd managed to stay together so long.
“The fact Brad and Ange got together was never a surprise. They were possibly the two most beautiful people in the world and the attraction was instant," he told the Telegraph.
“Ange is never a woman to hold back and he found that completely irresistible. The surprise was that the relationship lasted this long.
“Brad is a great guy. He’s smart, he’s good company but bottom line he’s an Oklahoma boy who likes to keep things pretty simple. Ange likes things complicated.
