The rapper said recently that he felt inspired by those who have more than him; they’re his muse, and they don’t get him down. The star went on to say that people who are jealous of stars like Jay-Z and Beyonce are not looking at them the right way. “They’re looking at them as opps,” the performer explained.

Boosie, who was recently shot in the leg during his visit to a vigil held for Mo3, went on to tell a story about the time he left Louisiana for Georgia. He went to Rick Ross’ huge estate, and he claims he was so inspired by Rick’s success.

He claimed it inspired him to go into “full grind mode,” before going on to say that he saw with his “own eyes” what was possible for a black man to achieve. He wasn’t left embittered by the sight of Rick Ross’ success at all.
